Cotswold Water Park: Outfit & Photography

Hope you guys had a sassy bank holiday weekend! 3 day weekends are my absolute favourite because that extra lie-in day is THE best, however I’m totally not going to have a clue what day of the week it is for the next few days.

I had a pretty chilled weekend but on Monday I had a little trip out with the boyf to the Cotswold Water Park and couldn’t resist some cheeky snaps of the views (and of course, my outfit).

We walked around a few lakes, walked through some mud and tried (& failed) to take some cute pictures of birds. Apparently I was making too much noise, oops…

The water park is near Cirencester (like, in the South West basically) and I think going here proves I’m a country girl at heart. Aside from the lakes there’s a restaurant, outdoor activities and also a spa (which I went to last year and it was AHmazing). We just went for a little stroll like the hopeless romantics that we aren’t, then went and scoffed a subway. It took a couple of hours to recover from the food coma (I recommend the cheesy nachos), but it wasn’t too bad a day!

So, what did I wear? I went for a super casual outfit and wore no make-up. Who the hell can be bothered to wear make-up on days like this?

Ok… I lied… I put on some concealer for my spots, but that doesn’t count, right?

Anyway, I wore my favourite ASOS jeans with a new Monki cold shoulder top which I also got from ASOS. Now… they don’t call it ‘cold shoulder’ for nothing – I was bloody freezing. Going out for a daytime walk and not sure whether to take a jacket or not? TAKE A JACKET. May I also recommend some better footwear than some old strappy sandals, not very practical Robyn.

Jeans – ASOS

Bag – c/o PLB

Shoes – old at New Look (similar herehere)

So that’s my cute weekend! Not to mention the fact I finally met my boyfriends parents which was a terrifying but enjoyable experience, with a bit of sunburn thrown in for good measure. Let me know what you guys thought of my outfit and what you all did for the long weekend!

Gorgeous without makeup! And I can totally relate to wearing non-practical clothing when on a walk… *shakes my head* Days like these are one of my favourites, as they are chilled and relaxed, setting your mind off of the things you don’t even need to worry about. x
