It’s July and it’s officially BBQ and garden party season (well, when the British weather decides to perk up a bit). There’s no better feeling than being able to stay outside until 10pm and have a cheeky cocktail because it’s still light.
However, deciding what to wear for these events can be a bit of a faff… Do you dress up? Do you go really casual? Well, I’m here to show you 3 possible outfits perfect for a summer BBQ, dressed fully in Fat Face.
The new Fresh Prints collection at Fat Face brings in loads of summery prints which can be worn with classic, timeless items to create some seriously insane outfits. I’m loving the colours of the collection with lots of red and brown hues and you’ll see my particular favourite is a beauty of a jumpsuit (outfit 2!).
Disclaimer: there’s one thing you’ll all need for a summer BBQ in the UK which I haven’t included in this post, and that’s an umbrella. When will it stop raining?!
OUTFIT 1 – THE MIDI SKIRT.
For outfit number 1 I’ve paired a gorgeous loose midi skirt with a plain black tee. The skirt does all the talking with the boho-styled pattern and I cannot even begin to tell you how comfy it is (yasss to elastic waists). I’ve added some lace-up low heeled sandals to add to the casual theme and UGH the brown leather bag is basically everything dreams are made of!

Look how cute this lil’ doggy is! #outtake
OUTFIT 2 – THE JUMPSUIT.
I’ve always loved a casual jumpsuit for the summer – obviously there’s the fact you don’t need to shave your legs, but they’re super stylish too. This one from Fat Face has such a cute subtle print on it and it’s literally my idea of a perfect jumpsuit! You’re gonna LOVE it.

Hat – ASOS (sold out, but available in black!)
OUTFIT 3 – THE CASUAL DENIM
For my final outfit I’m bringing out some denim shorts and styling them with a cute brick-coloured top and a soft cardigan. This outfit is all about casual layering and make sure you take a note of the beaut sandals too, they’re SO comfy!
Oh, and as I was shooting this look it totally tipped it down with rain… UGH.

I really hope you all love these outfits that I’ve put together! The new Fat Face collection is now live and you can shop all of these items (and more!) in store or online. My favourite items in the collection are the jumpsuit (of course), the midi skirt and the red cami. Let me know in the comments which of the 3 outfits are your fave and make sure you start looking sassy for your summer BBQ’s and parties!
