The Budget Bardot

Trends come and go and one of the big ones this year is the bardot top. They’re great for getting your shoulders out in the summer for that no-tan-line-stress, and they’re really easy to style with pretty much anything. Nailing the trend doesn’t have to be expensive though, and I’ve got a sassy new bardot top (which is now my new fave) from SheIn.

SheIn, like I’ve mentioned before on my blog, can be a teeny bit hit and miss with sizes and things like that, but as long as you look closely at the size guides then you can seriously bag yourself a bargain. The top I’m wearing in this post is only £10 and it’s got such a cute design that I’m yet to see anywhere else online!

I decided to style my babe of a top with another bargain buy that I got this week – these ASOS jeans. I practically live in ASOS Ridley jeans, they’re a bit like Topshop Leigh jeans but like £10 cheaper. I was on the hunt for some new Ridley’s because my old ones don’t fit anymore (CRIES) and I found some perfect black ones with a bow detail on the leg for only £12.50 – YES THAT’S £12.50. I was frantically adding it to my basket and transferring my funds around so I could bag them before they went out of stock – but don’t worry huns, they’re still available in some sizes.

Top – c/o SheIn

Jeans – ASOS

Bag – c/o New Look

Shoes – Next (sold out, similar here)

I finished off the look with a black cross-body bag and some black sliders – I felt like this outfit gave off so much more of a casual vibe and I wasn’t feeling wearing heels at all, who can be bothered with mega high heels in the summer anyway?

Hope you love the outfit and make sure you let me know what you think of it as always!

The jeans are so nice considering the price, and they’re usually like £28!

the top is super cute but I’m loving those pants too, the detail at the end is so pretty. I agree with you shein can be a bit complicated sometimes, I ordered a couple things once and the dress that i ordered in medium arrived in size XL haha

Oh wow, I’ve never had that before!! Nightmare! I just find occasionally the sizes are way too small for me so I always size up anyway, but with this top I didn’t and it was fine…!
