3 Christmas Party Eye Make-Up Looks With Urban Decay

It’s Christmas party season and we’re all gearing up for the family to come round or for the office work do. I’m a bit of a boring sod and I don’t have many opportunities to dress up to the nines and go all out on my make-up, so Christmas party season is the perfect time to nail festive eyeshadow looks.

Christmas eyes are all about getting the right colours and of course, a load of glitter. I’m going to be using a mixture of the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette and the Ultimate Basics Palette to create 3 shimmery and sparkly eye make-up styles which you can recreate for your own parties!

This look is all about the gold eyes. I’d always go for this kinda eyeshadow if I was wearing a plain black dress, with a load of gold jewellery.

I went all over my eyelids up to my brows with Thirteen and a little bit of Blow for a rosey-gold touch. On my eyelids I blended in High and Dirtysweet with some Radar in the outer corners of my eye. On the inner corner of my eye is High.

Bring out the festive reds with a smoky deep orange and black combo. Plus, who said we had to stick with just eyeshadow?! I’ve stuck on a few face gems for some extra glam.

I went all over my eyelids up to my brows with Thirteen. I’ve used mostly Extra Bitter on my lids and blended up above my eyelid, and in the corner I’ve added Blackjack and Whiskey and blended outwards.

Silver is my favourite festive colour, and the Naked Smoky palette is perfect for a black/silver eye. Silver eyes go so well with silver jewellery too!

I’ve gone all over my eyelids up to my brow with Thirteen (definite theme developing). I’ve covered just my eyelids in Armor and Slanted and added a little to the inner corner of my eye. I’ve used Black Market on the outer edge of my eyelid, and a hint of Pre-Game to the middle of my eyelid on the top to brighten it up!

The eyeliner I’ve used is my favourite Lancome Grandiose Liner (which was a PR sample earlier this year, but I’ve actually re-purchased because I <3 it so much!). My mascara in all the photos is Benefit They’re Real.

Hope you love these festive ideas using some of the Urban Decay palettes – make sure you let me know in the comments which one is your favourite!
