IT’S JUMPER SEASON! How I’m Styling Them For Everyday

Ahhhh jumper season. I LOVE IT. High street shops are now full of them, and every time I head into a store my heart is filled with mustard and burgundy knitwear heart-shaped LOVE. Obsessed much? You bloody bet. I’m having to restrain myself a little because I do have quite a few lovely knits from last year that didn’t get a lot of wear (so many sales from the end of last Winter!), but it’s so exciting to start styling the jumpers with my favourite items.

You bet I’ve dug out my favourite jeans and ankle boots out… I’m so basic.

This cosy grey knit is from Oui (who also featured in my last outfit post which you can read here). You can’t go wrong with anything grey because you know it’ll go with everything, including a rad pair of coloured jeans if you’ve got them. This particular pullover has a dipped hem and zip detailing which I’m loving to separate it from the rest of the knitwear on offer – you wouldn’t believe the quality either! It’s one of those pieces that you can style with absolutely anything and it’ll look fab.

Maybe one day I’ll be uber cheeky and wear the zips up (wouldn’t THAT be a fashion statement) but for now I’m keeping them down and my skin kept waaaay away from your eyes.

I’m trying to mix up my Autumn outfits, but a casual everyday outfit never goes a miss when perhaps you’re not feeling great and you just want to feel comfy (…me this weekend, when I chose this outfit). I wanted to wear the knit with my new favourite pair of jeans, which are the skinny Jenna jeans from New Look. I’ve always looked for super duper uber duber really tight skinny jeans, but these days I find I just can’t move when I wear them, so on a recent jean hunt I opted for simply ‘skinny’. They’re FAB. So much room, a tiny bit of bag for comfort but still show off the figure. Isn’t breathing fun?

And of course every jumper and jeans look isn’t complete without ankle boots and a backpack. I picked up the backpack for half price in the Accessorize sale (only £17.50!) and the boots are old Office ones but as you know there are SO many similar ones on the high street. They’re the classic Chloe style and I’ve linked a similar pair in the usual space at the end of the post!

Jeans – New Look

Bag – Accessorize

Shoes – Office (sold out, similar here)

Comfort AND style. Oh, and warmth. This jumper is so damn cosy I can’t wait for it to be fur coat weather (on that note I’ve spotted this pink coat on Mango and I neeeeed it!).

Let me know what you think of the look in the comments! Are you a jeans/jumper kinda girl or do you prefer to mix it up a bit in Autumn/Winter?
