Leopard Print Favourites For Summer

Leopard print is a little love it or hate it, isn’t it?

Probably renowned for being Kat Slater’s print of choice, it tends to have a bad name associated with it. However, a few years later and the high street is covered in the stuff, from dresses to jackets and of course, accessories.

If you’re afraid to go all out with the print, then scarves, earrings and shoes are a great place to start. I’m going to show you some outfit ideas using leopard print, starting with those minor accessories to the full-on bold pieces. Along with an outfit of me wearing a lush new leopard jumpsuit of course!

OUTFIT 1 – LEOPARD ACCESSORIES

Start with leopard print in the scarf and the earrings and wear with a simple little black dress and tan details.

OUTFIT 2 – LEOPARD CO-ORD

Black and nude colour blocking with a fiesty leopard co-ord set. Wear together, or separately to make a few different outfits!

OUTFIT 3 – A CLASSIC DRESS AND BRIGHT ACCESSORIES

A longline dress for summer days, with red details and a killer leather jacket over the top. Featuring some lush sale items!

And finally… my outfit! I saw this red leopard jumpsuit last week in New Look for under £25 and to be honest I’d been eyeing up the wrap dress version for a while, but much preferred the jumpsuit. The red is a lush alternative to the general leopard print, and it’s definitely more my colour.

I paired the jumpsuit for work yesterday with some black block sandals by Aldo from Shoeaholics, which go perfectly with my new Carvela tan tote bag, also from Shoeaholics (and also called Robyn)! I think that tan/brown and black colours always compliment each other (especially here as the block heel of the shoe is wood effect!) and adding red created the ideal outfit. What do you think?!

I love this look, and I find jumpsuits so flattering and comfortable! I’d love to add more patterns like this into my wardrobe!

I love how leopard print etc. looks on other people but I just don’t think I can carry it off… I saw the dress version of that jumpsuit you’re wearing and it’s been soo popular but I just couldn’t bring myself to buy it!
