Swindon Designer Outlet – Christmas Party Outfit 2

A couple of weeks ago I shared with you a party look with some lush sale designer items all found at the Swindon Designer Outlet – read the post here! It was more of an alternative outfit with a trouser/top style which nailed a few of this years key trends (my favourite being velvet!). Today I’m bringing you a second outfit which is more of a traditional Christmas party outfit – and it surrounds the classic LBD.

With my own office party tonight it’s going to be tricky to narrow down which of the two outfits to wear, but I can’t wait to show you how much ££ I saved on some of the pieces I chose!

LBD? Check.

Sequins? Check.

Midi length? Check.

This dress has it alllll going on and it’s SUCH an amazing find. An LBD is always a good choice for your Christmas week dress, but sometimes it’s nice to find one with a little more oomph. I’m obsessed with the long sleeves and the longer knee length (lets face it I’m not 18 any more) and the sequins totally take this outfit from zero to hero. For someone like me who is relatively busty, the v-neck wrap style is ideal and I find that these dresses are SO comfortable and can be worn all night – which is just want you want for dancing all night to cheesy Christmas songs…

Wait until you hear the price though… This beauty of a dress was mine for only £22 at the Monsoon store in the Swindon Designer Outlet. To be honest, there were about 10 dresses I could’ve easily chosen from, all ranging from £20-£50, but this was the one. Originally it was £79, reduced down to £39.50, then again to £22. Amazing right!?

Once I’d found the dress I really wanted to find a cute little clutch bag to go with it. The options were either silver or black, but I generally prefer black bags as they can be re-used again so many times. I found this ridiculously expensive looking clutch bag for a mere £10 in the Clarks outlet store – I didn’t even know they sold bags! It’s a good size which is what I usually look for in a clutch bag, and the original price was £18 so there was a nice little saving on it too.

Shoe-wise I decided to throw on the same shoes that I wore in my first party outfit – these little kitten heels from Dune. As you may have seen from my last post, the shoes were £71 reduced to £28, then again to a sassy little £21 – and they’re the comfiest heels I own! They work perfectly with both looks so why not re-wear! They’re even ideal for workwear too and for £21 I’m so pleased with them.

Finally onto the accessories in this outfit, and when you’re wearing an LBD it gives you the opportunity to go BIG with jewellery. I loved these hexagon chain earrings which I found for an increeedible £2.40 at the Accessorize outlet store – they had an amazing 70% off which was amazing! I was desperate for silver earrings to match the silver in my clutch bag, and I think I nailed it…

What’s left? Make-up! The Swindon Designer Outlet have so many amazing outlet stores for make-up and beauty, one of my favourite being the Cosmetics Company store. To complete this look I found a gorgeous Estee Lauder liquid lipstick in the shade ‘Extreme Nude’ which was only £7.38 (which had 50% off original price at £14.75!). I love a bargain lipstick and this one went perfectly with my LBD party look.

What do we think of the second look?!

Thanks so much to the Swindon Designer Outlet for letting me have an amazing festive shopping spree! There is so much you can do there including places to eat, shopping designer pieces at lower prices, have coffee, and more (for me the best place = food court). Head to my instagram stories if you want to see more of my shopping experience from a couple of weeks ago – it’s on a highlight for you!

You can still head to the Swindon Designer Outlet this weekend for last minute gifts, and check their opening times if you want to shop for New Year outfits or January sales!
